After a year of waiting, the client did not obtain any special powers or psychic abilities.

Although cases regarding the crime of “commercial fortune telling” have happened in the past, the office of the Dsitrict Attorney in New York admitted that Ying Liu’s case is rather unique.

Ying Liu is currently charged with Grand Larceny. If convicted, she will have to spend up to seven years in jail, plus pay the acccompanying damages to the offended party.
